How should I care for my temporary crown?

• Avoid sticky or chewy foods such as caramel and candies.
• Chew the majority of your food on the other side of your mouth.
• Avoid hard foods that can break the temporary crown (raw veggies, nuts, etc)
• While flossing your teeth, slide the floss out from between your teeth rather than lifting or pulling it out in an upward motion. This may cause the temporary crown to pop off.

How long do crowns last?
The lifespan of a crown can last approximately 5-15 years.

How much does a dental bridge cost?

Should I get a bridge or an implant?
There are pros and cons to both. Implant are considered more of a permanent solution whereas, depending on care, bridges may need to be replaced in the future. Consult with Dr. Murdock or Dr. Sutton to decide the best option for you.
